Lifting of the confinement act II: This is what will change from this Sunday

The second phase of the confinement lifting plan in Algeria begins this Sunday, June 14, a week after the entry into force of the first act. Meeting at the Presidency of the Republic on Saturday, the Scientific Committee in charge of monitoring the COVID-19 epidemic in Algeria announced five major measures.

What we know about the border reopening decision

The question of reopening the country’s land, sea and air borders was ultimately not resolved. Indeed, the decision was postponed for the beginning of next July. This is what emerges from the press release from the presidency which sanctioned the meeting between the Head of State, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and the Scientific Committee for monitoring the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic, in the presence of Prime Minister, Abdelaziz Djerad.

COVID-19: The new fixed working hours

The working hours applicable in public institutions and administrations are those fixed by the regulations in force, from Sunday to Thursday, taking into account the new home confinement measures provided for by the regulatory plan relating to the prevention and the fight against the propagation Coronavirus (COVID-19), indicates a press release from the Directorate General of Public Service and Administrative Reform.

Total lifting of confinement for 19 wilayas and reduction of schedules for 29 others

The government has decided to completely lift home confinement for 19 wilayas and to adjust the timetables for this measure, taken as part of the fight against coronavirus, for the rest of the wilayas, said a press release from the Prime Minister’s office.

COVID-19: Lifting of the exceptional leave

A press release from the Prime Minister came to announce the continuation of the plan for progressive confinement’s lifting in Algeria. It’s in the second phase of it; that the Algerian Government has indicated the suspension of the exceptional paid leave of 50% of the workforce.
