No de-confinement without a sustainable improvement in the health situation

The Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform, Abderrahmane Benbouzid said Monday in Medea that a deconfinement “is only possible when there is a significant and sustainable improvement in the health situation.
“When the number of new positive cases will be reduced to a less worrying threshold, when we approach zero deaths, then we can address the issue of de-confinement,” said the Minister of Health to the APS, on the sidelines of his visit to the Mohamed Boudiaf Hospital in Medea, where he inquired on site about the conditions of care for patients affected by the new coronavirus (COVID-19) and the mobilization of medical staff, engaged in the field for nearly two months.
