Health emergency: Ban on night movement lifted after Eid Al-Fitr

This news will bring some relief to the Moroccans in this period of prolonged confinement. According to well-informed sources who spoke to Hespress, the Moroccan authorities decided to lift the movement’s ban at night immediately after Eid al-Fitr. The same source indicated that the night ban, imposed by the authorities since the 1st of Ramadan between 19:00 and 05:00, will be lifted after Eid al-Fitr.

However, it also stressed that the cancellation of the night movement ban does not mean that citizens will be allowed to leave without excuse or reasonable cause. Moreover, the Hespress source assures that the measures previously announced by the authorities, namely obtaining the Exit certificate and leaving the house in case of emergency, will still be required.
