Resumption of the process of distance learning from Monday, May 4:

As part of the pedagogical continuity of the courses, the Ministry of National Education announces the resumption of the process of distance learning, starting tomorrow, Monday, May 4, 2020.

The courses will be broadcast on the television channels “Athaqafia”, “Laayoune”, “Al Amazighia” and “Arriyadia”, as well as via the portal “TelmidTICE”, and all mechanisms used by teachers.

This new stage will be characterized by the completion of academic courses and the provision of a large number of courses programmed for review and coaching in order to prepare for the exams.

Launch of a portal allowing citizens to the denunciation of offenders to the instruction of the state of health emergency: The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) announced on Monday, May 4, the launch of its portal “covid.dgsn.gov.ma”, dedicated to the denunciation of offenders to the instructions of the state of health emergency.

According to the DGSN, this service should enable citizens to collaborate with law enforcement agencies in the fight against the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, by actively participating in the implementation of preventive measures.

Thus, any citizen who has observed an act of transgression of Law No. 2.20.292, on the provisions relating to the state of health emergency and the measures of its declaration, will be able to use this new platform as a tool for denunciation.

Towards the adoption of electronic voting system in the House of Councillors: The Bureau of the House of Councillors decided to take all necessary steps to adopt electronic voting in plenary sessions and to generalize this system to the standing committees as of next week.

A communiqué of this legislative institution, issued at the end of the weekly remote meeting of the Bureau of the House, held on Monday and chaired by Mr. M. Hakim Benchamach, President of the House of Councillors, indicates that “in the framework of the implementation of the provisions of article 60 of the Constitution in its first chapter which stipulates that the right to vote of members is a personal right that cannot be delegated, and article 175 related to the rules of procedure of the House, which stipulates that voting must take place in public and by show of hands or by means of the electronic device provided for this purpose, the Bureau decided to take all the necessary steps to adopt electronic voting during plenary sittings, while generalising it to the standing committees, as from next week”.
